Programs at the Everett Clubhouse
Our
Core Programs engage young people in activities with adults, peers and
family members that enable them to reach their full potential. Based on
the interests and needs of the teens at the Everett Clubhouse, our Clubs offer
diverse programs in five areas:
- Character & Leadership Development
Teens can participate in Keystone Club, a small-group leadership development opportunity, as well as taking leadership roles in other activities such as Girls Council. Teens interested in volunteering can participate in our volunteer program with For Kids Only, a local child-serving organization.
- Education & Career Development
The Everett Clubhouse is committed to helping teens succeed in high school and beyond. Opportunities include Career Launch, individual homework help during Power Hour, Goals To Graduation, and YES career training. Our computer lab is available for teens who need access to word-processing or internet research.
Everett Clubhouse staff and volunteers provide opportunities for learning and discussion in the areas of health and life skills. Professional health educators from the Everett Teen Health Clinic visit regularly to discuss topics of interest to teens. Our Girls Group program provides gender-specific programming for Everett's young women.
Check out our art room and the computer lab! Staff, volunteers and interns help teens explore different artistic media, including murals, through our Young Graffiti Masters program. Skill Tech computer training is a great opportunity to learn computer troubleshooting and repair.
- Sports, Fitness & Recreation
Teens at the Everett Clubhouse have many opportunities to be active and learn about healthy choices. Health educators from the Everett Teen Health Clinic Join a team in our Dance Room, form a team for the dodgeball league, play 15-under or 18-under basketball, participate in Gymcraftics or an Obstacle Course, and more!
